This morning was “moving” day—moving as much as possible out of my old office (the breezeway between our house and garage) into the bedroom Ashley vacated when she went to BJU. This will be a huge improvement—imagine trying to study and pastor from a room that has five doors and is right next to the dining room. Add homeschooling and six kids to that, and you’ve got a recipe for distraction! It’s no wonder I’ve gone to the community park and area cemetery’s so much over the last five years to try to get some quiet to think!

I don’t know how many trips I made up and down those steps, but my legs are tired. File cabinets, bookcases, desks, hundreds of books, etc. etc. etc. Doing this reminded me a lot of Ashley, so I thought of her quite a bit. She’s had a bad migraine all day, so she’s been our minds all day because of that too.

A shorter work week, so it’ll be interesting to see how things get done. J
