October 7, 2010

A dreary day—rain, rain, rain. Psalm 90 and Ephesians 6 for my Bible reading. Prayer time at the community center. Final preparations for tonight’s prayer meeting. More preparation for this weekend’s OBF conference. Emails. Phone calls.

Boy, do my days sound basically the same after awhile? I guess that’s life, isn’t it? Routine isn’t necessarily bad.

Power went out in the afternoon for a little bit, a slight inconvenience.

Turned out that that power outage was more than a “slight inconvenience” as we had to cancel prayer meeting due to that and no heat at the community center! So, Trish and Andy went up to Mentor as he wanted to buy a suit; I stayed home and worked on more OBF stuff.

  1. Oops, I mislabeled this post! This was yesterday’s journal entry, not today’s. That’s what I get for posting it today instead of staying up to do it last night. Oh well. 🙂
